It's been a long time since my last recipe. In the last few weeks I didn't have time, but today I managed to update my blog.
Yesterday my son was invited to a birthday party of a friend. Saturday at 1 pm. And it was not for lunch, so I had to prepare lunch very early. As usual, it must be fast, easy and tasty.
Penne with meat and red peppers. Delicious!
Here's the recipe.
Ingredients:
400 g beef diced
1 big onion
1 big red pepper
150 ml red wine
150 ml broth or water
Chili powder
salt
1 handful of basil leaves
200 g peeled tomatoes crushed
penne pasta
In a large frying pan, heat a little olive oil. When the oil is hot, add the meat. When crispy, remove to another container.
In the meat sauce left, pour the chopped onion. Then, add the peppers and cook for 5 minutes over low heat.
Add the wine, broth (or water), chili powder, chopped basil, salt and crushed tomatoes. Stir and cook.
Add the meat to the sauce and cook for a couple of minutes.
Separately, cook the pasta in water and salt. When ready, drain and add a little olive oil. Stir.
Serve and garnish with basil leaves.
