Corn Bread

Hi!

Last weekend I made a typical bread of my country: Corn Bread.

Ingredients:

350 g wheat flour 
150 g corn flour 
125 ml warm milk 
1 package dry yeast 
2 teaspoons salt 
175 ml warm water 
2 tablespoons olive oil 

Add all dry ingredients in a container and mix well. Make a hole in the middle and add the milk, the olive oil, and the water. Knead well by hand until a smooth dough. Form into a ball and leave in the container, covered with a cloth in a place away from drafts, for about 1 hour. At this time, the dough should have doubled its size. 

After one hour, knead again, making a ball and put into a tray sprinkled with flour or use baking paper. Cover with a cloth and let rise for 1 hour. 

Preheat oven to 220° C. Make a cross in the dough with a knife, and bake for about 45 minutes. 

It looks good!

Summer salad

Hi!

Last night for dinner I made an easy, quick and tasty Salad! Just the way I like!

I put it in layers:

carrots 
peas 
hard-boiled eggs 
sliced ​​mushrooms 
Tuna (canned) 
cherry tomatoes 
green olives




My husband used vinaigrette and for a change I used a bit of mayonnaise. Really tasty!
